Private nature tour on traditional wooden snowshoes with kota campfire lunch
To our knowledge, we are the only company in Lapland to offer tours on traditional wooden snowshoes, and we have totally fallen in love with them over the years. Larger yet lighter and quieter than many modern snowshoes, they are perfectly suited for going outside of trails due to better floatation in deep snow, ideal for getting up close with nature.

After our private snowshoe tour, you'll get to learn how we make fire here in the arctic and enjoy a relaxing three-course meal of local delicacies around the campfire in our private kota.

Private nature tour on forest skis with a kota campfire lunch
Our modern Finnish forest skis are perfect for getting off-trail and exploring nature in an easy beginner-friendly way. These are NOT downhill skis so you do not need any prior experience with skiing to come along.
We will ski among frozen forests and marshes where we might spot ptarmigan or other arctic wildlife, and when possible head out to Jerisjärvi lake which is surrounded by the fells of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park.
After our private snowshoe tour, you'll get to learn how we make fire here in the arctic and enjoy a relaxing three-course meal of local delicacies around the campfire in our private kota.

Christmas family adventure at our private forest with kota lunch
When Virpi was a child her family would put extra food out for the birds and other forest animals during Christmas time, and she was also always on the lookout for little elves hiding around keeping tabs on how well she was behaving!
We have combined the magic of Christmas time with nature and Finnish customs to bring you back into what it's all really about: enjoying time together as a family in beautiful, calm winter surroundings having fun.

Previously known as GreenTrek Lapland, we slowed down in 2025-26 to spend time with our baby daughter, study, and to see where we wanted to take our company. Our hearts were telling us to go back to the beginning, to what really matters to us and what Finnish nature and culture is all about. And our updated tours reflect that. We have now located ourselves beside the national park away from the busy crowds of the ski resorts and even closer to nature, with more emphasis than ever on giving you quality time with your family and loved ones.
Join us in the forest, skiing and snowshoeing on traditional wooden snowshoes, and enjoy good food around a relaxing campfire. Together. That's what it's all about!
